Hey there folks,
welcome to the Fishing Tips page. I am in no way some professional angler or highly-skilled fishing guide but these are just some of the fishing tips I can offer you for your fun times of fishing in Thailand. This page used to be called “some basics” but I found that the layout could have been improved so I’ve put this page together instead. Unfortunately, the comments from the previous posts could not carry over during this little change since I’m no web genius.

But anyhow, I’ve divided them into categories for which I will continue to add more to this section the future as I learn more tricks to share. If you’ve got any suggestion as to what to add or how to improve them feel free to post them into the comments section or send it to my email. PEACE.

It’s a long way off but sept/oct 2015 I will be attending my step daughters wedding in BKK. After the wedding we will be going to Kanchanaburi for 3-4 days, staying in a riverside “traditional” house, 1/2 in 1/2 out of the water. What, if anything, can I expect to catch directly from the veranda ? We usually fish Soi 14 in Pattaya or Sam Roi Yot beaches.
