I’ve been getting really serious into video making and fishing as of late. I started out Bangkokhooker’s Fishing in Thailand as a place where I can write and share to the world about the wonders of fishing in Thailand but over the years, 100,000 views later (WOOHOO!!!) I’ve slowly incorporated movie making in as a medium to captivate the kind of fun that is available here.
The location today is somewhere on the Chaophraya river. Our friend who owns the bass boat found a small little lagoon, no bigger than a duplex apartment, that is home to giant snakeheads. We went there a while back and I’m pretty sure that the fish there are probably all educated by now considering how small the area is and how often our bass boat owner goes there.
We fished them by casting the noisiest clacker buzzbaits onto water hyacinths and reeling them back to trigger strikes. I fished with a Booyah (American brand) clacker buzzbait while my friend, Ting, did so with a locally made, Nut Manslim clacker buzzbait. Anyway, take a look at the video below, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Tight lines!
