O hai...

Hey folks, sorry I’ve been a little MIA as of late. I’ve been on vacation in Tunisia for two weeks, seeing the desert, riding camels, visiting the locations where they filmed two Star Wars films (Episode IV and I) and such but now I’m back doing this Bangkokhooker thing full time.

Yesterday I went to check locate and check out Freestyle Fishing Park. Located in the agricultural area of Chachoengsao, this low-priced fishing pond has just about everything: Mekong giant catfish, striped snakehead, Amazonian redtail, dog-eating catfish, barramundi, tiger shovelnose catfish all in one park. It’s a beautiful place but their fish numbers were a little low and the pressure from the competition last month has left more of the fish very cautious. And yes, the page is up with GPS coordinates, Google maps and everything.

I’ve also added a small page to the Game Fish in Thailand section dedicated to the Amazonian redtail. From now on I’ll start adding the international species that have made their way to Thailand as well.

Oh well, I’m looking forward to doing lots of fishing and providing you with information on as many ponds and fish species as well as other fishing in Thailand information as I can and if anyone is down for it, I’ll be at Pilot 111 tomorrow with some friends pulling up some giant snakeheads for fun.

Tight lines!
